Who We Are

Hollowed Earth Pottery is the pottery business of Mark and Sarah Batory. We teach pottery lessons to both kids and adults and offer classes for beginner and intermediate students. Our beginners’ class is offered several times during the week and is the perfect date night. Take a class and enjoy all of the other offerings at Hampton Station.

After taking several classes, we provide studio memberships to further your pottery education. More info and registration is on our website www.hollowedearthpottery.com.

Maybe you enjoy pottery but are just interested in enjoying the product itself, instead of a class. Come shop our retail space where we sell mugs, bowls, plates, and other ceramic tableware!

Inside Scoop

Husband and wife Mark and Sarah enjoy spots in Greenville they can share with their three year old daughter.  Current faves are Tandem for crepes and walks around Furman’s lake.

Superpowers of our staff: Mark is dead on with a wrist sling shot and Sarah is a superhero in the kitchen.

Most important tool for running our business:  Mark’s knife blade.  Seriously, it is dull and he uses it on every piece he makes.
